Dental TI knows the goal of patient education is successful treatment planning. Treatment planning success is measured by the patient scheduling procedures and keeping their appointment. Our process of patient education, treatment planning, and treatment scheduling occurs while the patient is focused on their dental needs. The flow offers the simple procedures to be scheduled chair side while larger cases get a consult room visit with a financial coordinator. Once scheduled, the patient is given pictures of areas that require treatment so they can visualize the reason for treatment even after they leave the office. We have found this helps minimize “buyer’s remorse” and creates an urgency to get care completed. Our scheduling process is focused on the goal of an educated patient who understands and appreciates the value of their treatment and refers others who are interested in optimal dental health.
