David Hanning has been helping Dental offices implement their technology profitably for nearly two decades. After graduating with a degree in Economics from Ball State University, David started his career in dental technology with “Insight Imaging” selling intraoral camera systems. From the beginning, David coached his clients to follow a process and protocol for usage of the technology to enhance their practices. David worked with three different technology companies (American Dental Technologies, Schick Technologies, and Computer Age Dentist) after Insight. His responsibilities ranged from territory representative to National Sales manager and he was able to learn about how the various technologies such as digital x-ray, the intraoral camera, and practice management software work together. He became intrigued by the concept of the “paperless” dental office and the application of all of the available technologies to create an “electronic medical record”. In 1999 he started his own company, Dental TI, with the mission of “improving the lives of dentists and the care provided to patients through the effective use of technology in dentistry.”  Dental TI’s purpose is to not just sell technology but provide a protocol and process for use on every patient and train the staff to be experts in acquiring a “complete” pictorial and radiographic exam.  David’s early vision of always having a clear, diagnostic image accompanying every conversation related to a patient’s dental health has helped Dental TI clients become successful while their patients experience optimal dental care.
