Step 1: Optimize Image Capture First, No Distractions

Start every visit with clean, consistent image capture:

  • Take full series intraoral photos, CBCT, 2D X-rays, or scans as needed.

  • Keep this step focused on image quality and thoroughness, not explanations (yet).

Step 2: Hygienist Review—Educate & Annotate with the Patient

Once the images are captured, the hygienist becomes the educator:

How It Works:

  • Display images chairside on a monitor.

Step 3: Dentist Review—Focus on Solutions, Not Explaining the Problem

When the dentist enters, the patient already knows what’s happening.

Now the conversation shifts to treatment options:

  • The dentist confirms yellow and red findings.

  • Adds treatment recommendations directly to the annotated images (e.g., “Recommend crown #15 to prevent fracture progression.”)
