The Veraview X800 is a newly redesigned multifunctional X-ray unit loaded with practical, unique, and refined features. Image clarity has been enhanced with a voxel size of just 80 micrometers and a resolution of 2.5 LP/mm, the highest level of any Morita multifunctional unit to date. Veraview X800 offers progressive technology that automatically sets the optimal x-ray beam angle, horizontal for 3D or raised 5° for 2D panoramic images. This slight upward projection for panoramic imaging enhances image quality by eliminating potential superimposition of anatomical structures, including the shadow from the base of the skull and hard palate over the maxillary teeth. For 3D imaging, a horizontal beam minimizes distortion and reduces metal artifacts. The X800 unit, therefore, self-adjusts to optimize image quality during both acquisition techniques. The F150 configuration sits at the top of the X800 platform's field-of-view range: eleven FOV options in total, running from a focused Ø 40 x H 40 mm scan up to a Ø 150 x H 140 mm maxillofacial volume, the largest field Morita offers on this hardware. That top-end field captures the full jaw and craniofacial skeleton in a single exposure, which is what makes the F150 the right configuration for airway evaluation, TMJ assessment, complex orthodontic case planning, and any full-arch or whole-skull review where a smaller field would otherwise mean stitching multiple scans together. Veraview (X800) F150 technology

Adaptive Focal Point (AFP)

Panoramic images are built from multiple image-layer depths tiled together into one scan. AFP lets the clinician select the region that needs to be sharpest, from the root apex to the incisal edge, and the system reconstructs the rest of the arch to match, so the whole image comes into focus instead of only the layer the unit guessed at.

Adaptive Gray Scale (AGS)

AGS reads tissue density across the panoramic image and adjusts contrast automatically rather than applying one exposure setting to the whole arch. The dental arch, jaw bone, and TMJ, tissues of very different density, all stay clearly readable in the same image instead of some regions blowing out or going dark.

Digital Direct Auto Exposure (DDAE)

The flat panel detector reads X-ray transparency in real time during the exposure itself and adjusts output on the fly, rather than relying on one pre-set exposure value for the whole capture. That produces a wider dynamic range in the finished image, so both dense and thin structures stay usable in the same scan.

Zoom Reconstruction

A scan captured at the standard 125 µm voxel size can be reprocessed afterward at the X800's full 80 µm resolution without repeating the exposure. On the F150, that applies to every FOV up to Ø 100 mm; the largest Ø 150 x H 140 mm maxillofacial field is captured at 320 µm and isn't eligible for the zoom step, so a large-volume airway or full-arch scan should be planned around the resolution it's actually captured at.

3D Reuleaux FOV

The X800's Ø 100 mm Dental Arch field isn't a plain cylinder, it's shaped to the curve of the arch itself, a convex, rounded-triangle profile rather than a circle, so the exposure covers the full arch in one capture while excluding tissue outside the region of interest. On the F150, this Dental Arch FOV sits below the maximum Ø 150 x H 140 mm maxillofacial field, giving the practice a full-arch option at lower dose whenever a whole-skull volume isn't needed.

Dose Reduction Mode

Switching on Dose Reduction lowers the radiation used in parts of the scan volume that are more radiographically transparent, cutting overall patient exposure by as much as 40% compared with the mode turned off. It works alongside the 180°/360° scan toggle and the platform's narrower pediatric panoramic exposure as part of keeping every capture at the dose the diagnosis actually requires.
