Preowned CBCT, with the numbers published

A used CBCT is worth what its tube has left, what its software license allows, and who shows up when it stops working. We publish the counter readings, say what is included, and install and train the same way we would on a new machine.

Before you buy anyone's used machine

Most of what goes wrong with a used CBCT is decided before the sale, not after it. These two pieces cover the questions worth asking — of us or of anyone else.

Frequently asked questions

How many exposures has the machine taken?

Every unit we list carries its counter readings, taken off the machine itself. A CBCT tube is rated in exposures, so that number tells you far more about remaining life than the year it was built.

Does the warranty transfer from the original owner?

Manufacturer warranties generally do not follow a machine to a second owner. That is why our preowned units carry a warranty from us instead, stated on the listing rather than negotiated after the sale.

Does the imaging software license transfer?

Not always, and it is the detail that most often turns a bargain into an expense. We confirm the license position before a unit is listed and tell you what transfers and what has to be bought.

Who installs it and trains the staff?

We do. Installation and training are included on the units listed here, the same as they are on a new machine, and expert support is a phone call away afterwards.

Tell us what you're replacing

We will tell you honestly whether a preowned unit or a new one is the better buy for your practice, and we will say so even when the answer costs us the sale.
