The HuLaser K2 is a mobile, portable diode laser (980 nm, 3.5 W CW / 6.0 W pulse) with reusable autoclavable tips for endodontic, periodontal, surgical, and other soft-tissue procedures. Can the K2 Mobile cut hard tissue like bone or enamel?
No. The K2 is a 980 nm diode laser, which is a soft-tissue technology — well suited to perio, endo, and general soft-tissue procedures. For hard-tissue work you'd want an Er:YAG laser such as the AdvErL EVO.
Are the K2 Mobile's laser tips reusable, or do I need to keep buying disposables?
