Required 24-month commitment, per sensor. FTG comprehensive protection against loss and damage, WatchDog monitoring, and expert support included.

$5,495 sensor kit + $2,376 in plan payments = $7,871 over 24 months, before sales tax and any applicable claim charges.

Accidental loss or damage is subject to the plan deductible and written coverage terms.

Start by removing the cord

A sensor cable gets handled throughout the day: positioned around the patient, routed beside the chair, moved between rooms, and put away between appointments. DC-Air removes that cable from the acquisition workflow, along with a common point of wear and failure.

That also gives the team more freedom when positioning the sensor. There’s no cord pulling at the holder or limiting where it can sit. DC-Air’s rounded profile and Zero Profile® holders are designed to make positioning more comfortable for the patient and more manageable for the operator.

Durability goes beyond the missing cable. The sensor’s single-crystal construction removes the scintillator and fiber-optic layers used in conventional indirect-conversion designs. Its IP67 rating adds water and dust resistance for daily use. The handling and disinfection instructions still apply.

Direct conversion puts image accuracy first

Conventional scintillator sensors convert X-rays into light before turning that light into an electrical signal. DC-Air’s direct-conversion detector turns X-rays into charge at the detector, without the intermediate light-conversion stage.

Removing that stage avoids the light spread associated with a scintillator. The reason to care is diagnostic image accuracy: preserving the anatomical information in the capture, so you have a useful starting point for interpretation.

You should be able to inspect that claim. Our image viewer starts with unsharpened DC-Air captures and lets you explore the detail yourself. Brightness, contrast, and optional AccuSharp controls let you see what display processing changes; Reset returns you to the starting capture.

WatchDog keeps the sensor visible to your team

Wireless equipment should be easier to use and easier to account for. WatchDog brings sensor information together in a shared dashboard, so the team has somewhere to look when a sensor isn’t where they expected.

  • See its status: docked, ready, transmitting, connecting, or not connected.
  • Find its last-known location: identify the room and workstation where the sensor was last active.
  • Catch conditions that need attention: battery, dock, connection, and calibration alerts help the team respond.
  • Review how it’s being used: imaging volume and capture-timing reports make sensor activity easier to track over time.

Comprehensive protection and ongoing support, included

The lower upfront price is only part of the value. FTG comprehensive protection covers accidental loss and damage, subject to the plan deductible and written terms. IT support, customer service, maintenance, and recalibration are also included for the next two years.

Dental TI helps your team connect the sensor to its imaging software, learn the workflow, and get comfortable using it. WatchDog adds monitoring; the protection plan provides a defined path when service or a covered replacement is needed.

Before enrollment, we’ll walk through the written coverage terms, including the deductible and replacement limits. That way, you know how a claim works before you ever need one.

What does the No Cord. No Worries. plan cost?

The promotional DC-Air sensor kit price is $5,495 with a required 24-month plan at $99 per month per sensor. The plan payments total $2,376, for a combined kit-and-plan commitment of $7,871 before sales tax and any applicable claim charges.

Can I still buy the $6,995 complete kit?

Yes. Dental TI's $6,995 complete-kit offer remains available without the required No Cord. No Worries. plan commitment. The $5,495 promotional sensor kit price requires enrollment in the 24-month plan.

Does the plan cover accidental loss or damage?

FTG comprehensive protection against accidental loss and damage is included for the required term. Coverage is subject to the plan deductible and written terms. Dental TI will review the coverage, deductible, and replacement limits with you before enrollment.

What does WatchDog track?

WatchDog shows sensor status, last-known room and workstation, battery and connection alerts, and imaging activity. Its reporting helps your team review sensor use and capture timing. Last-known location helps you find a missing sensor; it is not a guarantee against loss.
